Riverdale, which is based on the Archie comics, sees Apa play the lead role of Archie Andrews; a small town sophomore who dreams of pursuing a music career. But the mysterious death of fellow schoolboy, Jason Blossom and a summer tryst with his teacher leaves him in a troubled place.
Fans have since taken to twitter to comment on the series and the eerie similarities between the two, with one user commenting: "so I started watching Riverdale and KJ apa gives me so much evan peters vibes." It's true, Archie's iconic letterman definitely gives us a Evan Peters/Kyle Spencer vibe, but ultimately it all comes down to those fiery locks.
Both naturally brunettes, "Orange is the New Black" certainly rings true for these two hunks. Speaking exclusively to Vulture, Apa revealed he "had to go to the salon every two weeks to get [his hair] dyed and bleached." Despite the age gap, we still think they'd pass for twins. And who knows, maybe the next season of AHS will have a Jekyll and Hyde theme? Now that's something we'd like to see!
